Your new role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimise resource utilisation.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage raw material requirements to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate production plans and changes to relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment across the organisation.
  • Utilise production planning software and tools to enhance scheduling efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare regular reports on production status, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of production planning policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in production planning within the food production industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll get in return
A competitive salary of £27,000 to £32,000 per annum plus full company benefits package. You will also have a genuine opportunity for career progression. The role is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday.
