An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join a dynamic operations team. This role involves providing efficient site maintenance, including routine preventative tasks and addressing machinery breakdowns to maintain high standards of quality and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Conduct planned maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Install and modify mechanical equipment to precise specifications.
• Report hazards and defects swiftly.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all required paperwork.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in production maintenance.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science.
• Recognised City & Guilds certification in an engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of current engineering standards.
• Skills in fabricating, pneumatics, Arc/MIG welding, hydraulics, and interpreting technical drawings.

Desirable:

• NEBOSH/IOSH Safety qualification.
• COMPEX Certification.
