The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to work closely with a student requiring tailored educational and emotional support. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised 1:1 support to a student with specific SEN needs during lessons and activities.
  • Assist in implementing Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to adapt learning materials and ensure accessibility.

  • Support the student's social and emotional well-being.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff and contribute to progress reports.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly within an educational setting (preferred but not essential).

  • Relevant qualifications in education, SEN, or a related field are advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Why Join Us?
  • A supportive and collaborative school environment.
  • Access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • The opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a young person.
  • A welcoming school community in the heart of Winchester, with excellent facilities and resources.
