We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful part-time, term-time only (25 hours per week), Physics & Engineering Technician to join our highly successful department from 26th August 2025. You will be supporting students and staff in delivering engaging practical learning experiences.
There may be some flexibility to the working hours, which can be discussed at interview. This role involves working closely with students and staff on a day-to-day basis, delivering first-class technical support and supervision.
The successful candidate will play an active role in the continued success of the Physics & Engineering department, through the production, preparation and maintenance of teaching materials and equipment for Physics & Engineering students and the organisation and care of the laboratories.
Some flexibility of working across the disciplines of science will be required i.e. preparatory work in the Physics & Engineering Academy and other A level Sciences.
