£28,000 per annum + OTE
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

We are Mantra Learning, the UK’s leading Logistics learning and development organisation. We are an Ofsted grade 2 independent training provider who have specialised in providing training within the sector for over 56 years. The Manchester site is well established as the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK.
Through our two key brands, The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy we help thousands of individuals each year to gain new skills. This enables our learners to obtain employment within the logistics sector and drives the long-term growth of the industry.
We work with some of the biggest brands in the country, including Aldi, Wincanton and AO, delivering approximately 400 Apprenticeships, over 2500 Large Goods Vehicle licences and 1,100 Forklift Truck licences each year. The organisation is dedicated to deliver interventions that develop the ‘Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours to enable learners to thrive in life and work’.
The role
In this position you will be expected to build rapports and sell our products to generate new clients as well as maintaining relationships with our existing clients, ensuring regular review meetings are carried out to ensure apprenticeship standards are being met.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) based in Middleton.
Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
Generate new business within companies including independent garages, dealerships, councils, manufacturers, recovery and body shops.
Build and maintain relationships with customersCross sell products including Apprenticeships, Pathway, Bootcamp and commercial programmes.
Support Automotive Manager to ensure your client's needs are being effectively met.
Conduct Business Needs Analysis with new customer prospects to identify how we can support their organisation.
Conduct regular review meetings with existing clients to ensure smooth running of our offering and gain potential opportunities for new learners.
Use customer relations management system to support prospecting and to update relevant information held in the system.
Keep the prospect pipeline updated and accurate
Support Automotive Manager to prevent early leavers and highlight potential issues
Onboard new government funded learners
Promote Mantra Learning and ensure we have an excellent reputation for delivering great customer service
Carry out market research, competitor, and customer surveys.
Achieve agreed sales performance targets and company behaviour ‘Key Performance Indicators’ (KPIs).
Essential
Educated to NVQ level 2 or equivalentIT experience, including use of Word, Excel and Database.
Experience of working within a field-based Business Development / B2B role.
Proven experience of negotiating / winning / closing new and repeat business.
Proven experience of working towards and achieving targets.
Use of CRM database
Desirable
Experience of working within the training sectorExperience of working within the automotive sector
Administration experience.
