Job Description- Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the department
- Lead, coach and mentor the sales team to exceed targets
- Build strong relationships with key clients
- Oversee and land new contracts through bid management
- Track and report on sales performance metrics
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for growth within the sector
- Head up sales, reporting into the Board
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Head of Sales - Contract Catering' should have:
- A strong background in sales within the Business Services sector, preferably a link to Food or Contract Catering services
- Leadership experience; sales training, development planning, best practice, encouraging a successful culture
- Passion for scaling up a team and making sales pivotal in business growth
- Defining and executing a channel / client strategic business plan
- Excellent relationship and negotiation skills with multi function touch points. Bid delivery
- Internal & external influence from top down
- Proficiency in using sales tracking and reporting
