Customer Service Assistant(Job ref: BRX008)
Salary: £6,569.88 pro rata’d (£23,151 per annum/ £12 per hour)
Hours: 10.5 hours per week (see working pattern below)
Location: Brixham Library
Closing date: 9am, Wednesday 22nd October 2024
Interview date: Tuesday 5th November 2024, at Brixham Library
Working Pattern: Thursday: 9:30 – 13:00 (3.5hrs)
Friday: 9:30 – 13:00 (3.5hrs)Saturday: 9:30 – 13:00 (3.5hrs)
Total: 10.5 hours
Do you enjoy helping others? Brixham Library is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Assistant. We are more than just books!
You will play a key role in helping customers at every stage of their lives to get the most out of our services. It’s hands on and full of variety, with no two shifts ever being the same! In a typical shift, you could find yourself:
- Delivering a friendly, personable service to customers whilst helping them with their diverse reading and information queries.
- Using your excellent IT skills to help customers access our digital library services and connect to the wider world through our customer PCs or their own devices.
- Delivering and planning events and activities that inspire a love of reading, learning, and creativity with customers of all ages.
You don’t need qualifications or previous library experience to join us – we’ll give you all the relevant training you’ll need. It’s your passion for helping others, strong IT skills, and your excellent organisation skills that are more important to us.
