HR and Payroll Officer
This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week and offers hybrid / home working and flexible working options including condensed hours.
This is a key role within the organisation and you will be responsible for completing the monthly payroll for around 450 staff to a very high dree of accuracy as well as supporting HR and payroll data, identifying trends and producing reports as well as supporting the HR team on a wide range of processes.
The ideal candidate will have previous HR and payroll experience in a role focussed on data and reporting. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, V Lookups, pivot tables, dashboards). With strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail are all essential to be successful for the role.This is a varied role where two days are the same. The role:
- Ensure all HR and payroll KPIs are constantly up to date and regularly review effectiveness.
- Manage the processing of the monthly society wide payrolls including a permanent and temporary pay amendments ensuring all employees are paid on time correctly.
- Manage all general payroll processes including pension administration, benefit administration and over payments
- Manage timesheet processes and monitor completion
- To collate, produce, interpret and analyse information by providing accurate reports both regularly and on an adhoc basis as required including survey feedback, employee sentiment etc.
- To identify and analyse trends, monitor compliance and review general HR performance
- To produce and complete all mandatory reports and surveys including Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gaps, ONS Surveys and Government requests.
- To support the HR team on a wide range of HR processes including recruitment, on-boarding, amendments, absence, employee relations, leavers etc. ensuring accuracy and efficiency within agreed SLAs.
Salary is paying up to £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
