School Caretaker/Facilities Assistant
Temporary, Full-Time (37.5 Hours per week)
Location: NEWTON LE WILLOWS
Hours: Week A- 6am-2pm, Week B- 11pm-7pm
Undertaking a variety of maintenance and HSE duties across multiple sites. You will be a key holder and participate in a standby rota therefore you must be able to attend to call outs at unsociable hours(additional allowance is paid for this) .

Our client is an independent specialist school. They are looking to appoint a confident and reliable School Caretaker/Facilities Assistant. It is a Temporary role to start ASAP initially until January 2025.
The role will involve:Undertaking a variety of maintenance and HSE duties across multiple sites. You will be a key holder and participate in a standby rota therefore you must be able to attend to call outs at unsociable hours(additional allowance is paid for this) .
The use of your own vehicle is necessary as you will be expected to travel to different sites to support activities.
Experience:- Be honest, reliable, hardworking and flexible
- Hold a valid driving licence
- Be able to work using your own initiative
- Have good DIY and premises skills is beneficial
- Be committed to achieving high standards in your work
- Be willing to attend courses to develop your expertise
- Be able to deal with staff, pupils and the public in an efficient and friendly manner
- A current enhanced DBS certificate
