Our client is seeking a performance
- driven Accounts Payable Team Leader to join their Transactional Shared Services department.
The core objective of this role is to maintain a well-organised Accounts Payable function, ensuring adequate controls and quality checks are in place, and maintaining a high standard in order to comply with audit and governance requirements.

Your leadership skills will be crucial in supporting your team members, fostering a culture of high performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will also play a key role in overseeing the integration of mergers and acquisitions onto SAP for the AP team.
- Lead the Accounts Payable team, monitoring performance against key performance indicators
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices/credits received
- Oversee reconciliation of supplier statements to AP Ledger
- Prepare payment runs and oversee the process to completion
- Act as escalation contact regarding any supplier payment related matters
- Support the AP Manager in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Oversee integration of mergers and acquisitions onto SAP for the AP team
- Develop professional networks across the business to understand developing requirements
Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to lead and motivate your team effectively, setting goals, managing performance, and fostering a positive working environment. Your excellent customer service skills will be essential in dealing with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers.
- Experience leading an end-to-end Accounts Payable process in a Shared Services environment
- Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy
- Ability to lead and motivate a team including goal setting and performance management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment managing multiple tasks & priorities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (particularly Excel)
- Good communicator with ability to present financial information to all levels of management
