Weβre looking for a Senior Team Lead to join our team in Spalding, Lincolnshire.

As a Senior Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of our warehouse operations. Acting as the Line Leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations.This includes ensuring accurate inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and maintaining the highest quality standards for our products.
Responsibilities include:
Product Handling & Fulfilment:
- Oversee the accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatching of fresh produce orders according to customer specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and maintain optimal stock levels to meet demand.
- Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and implement effective stock rotation strategies to minimise spoilage.
Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures throughout the warehousing process.
- Train and supervise warehouse operatives on proper fresh produce handling techniques to maintain quality and optimise shelf life.
- Conduct regular checks on produce quality, temperature control, and hygiene standards.
Leadership:
- Motivate and lead a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Delegate tasks effectively, providing clear instructions, coaching, and performance feedback to optimise team efficiency.
- Monitor individual and team performance against set targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role.
- Proven experience in leading and motivating a team.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent communication and delegation skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the fresh produce industry would be advantageous.
- Experience using warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) would be beneficial.
- PPT license.
