Tasks

Assess clients with complex neurological and communication difficulties
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
Provide training and support to families and caregivers
Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Assess and provide therapy to introduce AAC systems
Working with individuals with a sensory impairment model approach
Contribution to the development of services and therapy options for our clients

Requirements

Must have a degree qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC
2 or more years experience working in the UK or graduated within the UK
Experience working with children and young people with complex needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to participate in training
Dysphagia competencies (not essential)
AAC experience both high and low tech
