Youth Worker

Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging programs and activities for youth, with a focus on personal development, leadership, and social responsibility.
- Build positive relationships with youth and create a supportive environment where they feel valued and respected.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and advocacy for youth facing challenges or in need of additional support.
- Collaborate with community partners, volunteers, and staff to enhance program effectiveness and reach more young people.
- Maintain accurate records of program participation, progress, and outcomes.
- Stay informed about relevant youth issues, trends, and best practices in youth development.
- Previous experience working with youth in a similar capacity, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization is desired but can be worked up to.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with youth from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
