Social Care Personal Assistant (6 hours per week)

A little about myself:I am a young lady living in Swansea. I have Autism, moderate learning disabilities and I suffer with FND ticks and seizures which come on sudden. I like going for a walk, I love animals. I like going to the gym. I love the beach. I enjoy watching Tick Tok and music videos.
I also enjoy eating out. I am looking for a PA with experience with seizures to take me out into the community to do the things I enjoy. Mum can show you how to deal with some seizure too. I can be changeling.
Driver required to take me out.

Hours of work6 Hours per week
Rate of pay. £12.75
Essential:I need you to:
- Have experience with FND seizures.
- Can drive and have a car.
- Can stay calm if I have a seizure
- You are female.
- Epilepsy training would be an advantage.
Desirable
I’d prefer if:- You were happy and bubbly.
- You have previous experience.
- Going to the Gym
- Going out in the community
I will need my PA to: Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.
Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment.Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
