Job Description

Rapidly expanding financial services organisation require a Lead Collections Analyst to work with the Head of Data as part of their growth strategy in the commercial operations team to support customer repayment strategies and improve collection efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer repayment journeys, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Track repayment rates, monitor trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess collection outcomes and refine customer engagement approaches.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer communication strategies and compliance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in debt collection strategies.
  • Utilize analytics to innovate arrears collections strategies.
  • Influence customer management teams with constructive feedback.
  • Integrate new data sources with Technology and Data teams to enhance collections.
  • Develop and evaluate new collections scorecards with data scientists.
  • Prepare monthly Board reports and materials for Credit Committee meetings.
  • Analyse portfolio trends and key performance indicators, performing deep dives as needed.

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry (Essential)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience handling large data sets and Excel (Essential)
  • Experience using Salesforce and data visualization tools (Preferable)
  • Degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (Essential)
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent attention to detail and process-oriented mindset for continuous improvements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
