There is also potential for this position to become full-time and longer-term, depending on the needs of the school.Key Responsibilities: Assist the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to Year 1 pupils.Support children s learning and development through a range of engaging activities.Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need extra help.Help manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.Contribute to the monitoring and assessment of pupil progress.Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering a supportive school community.
Requirements: Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.A passion for supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.A flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Working Hours:This is a part-time role, working 3 days a week 08:30am until 3:30pm.
