Job Description
The Interim Project Delivery Accountant will lead on projects that develop, streamline and automate the financial reporting process for the local business and other Group companies. Acting as an interface with internal and external solution providers to ensure efficiency and standardisation of processes.The role will be responsible for;- Implement Onstream in UK reporting and generate automated MRP Monthly reporting pack. Roll out changes to other Group entities.
- Implement Docuware or chosen solution for document approval and automated postings
- Implement Purchase Order solution and process and roll out to UK and other Group entities
- Implement process improvements to AP and AR process in Infor ERP system
- Reconfigure UK Expenses provider to automate Infor / Banking process
- Automate Invoice process in Infor ERP system for key customers
- Implement UK solution to account for delivery of projects that provides compliance and data sets for Tax filings
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Project Delivery Accountant should have:Education / Qualifications- Professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial role
- Systems and process implementation and improvement experience
- Good people management, presentation and organisational skills
- Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP accounting standards
- Works with integrity, customer focus, accountability and team working
- Well-organised and able to work independently to meet strict deadlines
- Daily rate of £400 - £500 per day. Role has potential to be determined outside IR35.
- Initial 3-4 month project
- 3 days a week on site in Cardiff, 2 days working from home.
