About the role:An exciting opportunity has emerged within the catering team at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. As the Deputy Catering Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless daily operation of multiple catering outlets, contributing to the overall exceptional experience offered to our visitors.
You will support the Catering Operations Manager and the teams responsible for overseeing the diverse range of catering outlets at Chatsworth House. This includes a large self-service café, an upscale lunch and afternoon tea venue, our ice cream parlour, and various smaller food and drink establishments scattered across the park and gardens.In addition, you will assist in the management of two off-site venues and delivering the successful execution of a series of large-scale corporate events throughout the year.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week across five days (predominantly a daytime operation). However, a degree of flexibility will be required to meet the demands of the role e.g. to cover events which can run over weekends and the occasional evening.

If you are someone who is willing to balance the strong operational needs of the business with a keen eye to budget control and the management of a large team, this role could be ideal for you.Reporting directly to the Catering Operations Manager you will be keen to consolidate your previous day visitor catering experience while helping to shape the direction of the offer at Chatsworth house.
You will have strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, not be afraid to challenge and have a proven track record of leading and motivating teams and fostering a positive working environment to achieve outstanding results.
