Apprentice Hairdresser, Vanilla Salon, Barnsley,S70 4PN
Working as part of a team, customer service, reception, retail, shampooing/conditioning hair and learning the skills to be our future professional in Hairdressing.
Daily duties will include:
- Shampooing/Conditioning hair
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy
- Greeting clients
- Making refreshments
- Answering the telephone
- Making and booking appointments
- Preparing clients for further services/treatments
- Laundry
In time you will also work towards:
- Blow drying
- Colouring hair
- Cutting hair
We are looking for someone enthusiastic, committed and dedicated to beginning their career in the Hairdressing industry.
Working week: TBA
Qualifications required:Desirable: Maths and English Grace 4/C or above, or willingness to work towards functional skills in these areas.

Eager to learn
The role will involve long periods of standing, therefore a good level of physical fitness and stamina is required
Apprenticeship standard: Hairdressing professional level 2Duration of apprenticeship: 24 months
