Commercial Accountant: Derry/Londonderry

Permanent | Full-Time | £36,000 - £42,000 per annum | Office-based

REED Finance is delighted to be working in partnership with a thriving commercial organisation in the Northwest area, in their appointment of a Commercial Accountant.

The successful Commercial Accountant will be responsible for the effective operation of the finance and accounting functions across the group. This is a genuinely excellent career opportunity for a driven, hard-working Chartered Accountant to work alongside a commercial Financial Director.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and budget returns.
• Delivery of management reports.
• Preparation of annual budgets and cash flows.
• Filing of statutory reports, including annual accounts.
• Overseeing the accurate processing of transactions using control accounts.
• Undertaking insurance activities as directed.
• Fulfilling treasury management activities as required.
• Contributing to special projects as directed.

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant
• IT proficient, with strong financial modelling skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexibly and on own initiative.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good commercial skills.
