An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an outstanding teacher to join our Geography department from September 2025 or earlier.

We will welcome applications from ECTs or more experienced teachers wishing to broaden their experience at a highly successful inner-city school and to take on additional leadership duties. We will offer a significant TLR/recruitment incentive to any successful applicant to take on additional responsibilities as an Advanced Skills Teacher or Key Stage Leader.

Geography is a popular and successful subject in our school. It is compulsory at key stage 3 and is a popular choice at key stage 4. We have a team of 8 teachers and the AQA specification is taught at GCSE. At A level, we teach the Pearson/Edexcel specification and we currently have 44 students studying the subject.

Student outcomes at GCSE and A level is very strong.

We wish to employ a teacher who has a good subject knowledge and is passionate about sharing their knowledge with young people. You must be a reflective practitioner and be committed to strong personal growth and continuing professional development.

Our students enjoy a wide range of extra and co-curricular opportunities, which help to develop their social and interpersonal skills.
