We are proud to be working with a specialist therapeutic school in Loughborough (LE12), supporting children and young people with Autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support under the guidance of teaching staff, helping students to engage with their learning.
• Support pupils with Autism and SEMH needs, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Build trusting and supportive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, independence, and personal growth.
• Assist with classroom activities and create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
• Help implement tailored support plans, ensuring individual student needs are met.
• A GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people, both academically and emotionally.
• Previous experience working with Autism and challenging behaviours is highly desirable.
• Ideally, a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or relevant certification, such as a Level 2 in Understanding Autism.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach.
