Learning Support Assistant

Learning Support Assistants are an integral part of the teaching and learning at our school. LSAs receive high-quality training and CPD and play a full and active part in the decision-making and communication systems across the school.We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can inspire and develop a love of learning in our children so that they will reach their full potential.
Our ideal LSA will: have experience working with children with specific needs
have some knowledge and understanding of complex needshave experience of supporting and leading individuals and small groups
be willing to learn and develop professionally
be flexible and have the ability to use their own initiative
be committed to actively supporting and modelling the ethos and values of Educate Together
It is important to us that we work closely with our children, parents, staff team and the local community therefore we need a team player who can help build our school family, developing positive relationships with all these stakeholders.Interview invites will be sent via email, please check your junk folders for emails from us.Salary starts at SCP5 which is currently £23, 500 pro rata ( the salary is to subject to the NJC pay award which will be backdated). The hours are 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday plus an extra hour each week till 4.30pm to attend staff training sessions. The actual salary for these hours is £18,607.
