Student/Academic Engagement & Wellbeing Coach - Delta Bespoke, part of Delta Education Trust. 37 hours per week, Term Time Only, Permanent.

Student/Academic Engagement & Wellbeing Coach - Salary Grade F £27,269 - £31,067 per annum, pro rata to £23,335-£26,586 per annum for term time only working, plus generous pension and sick pay scheme.

This role will require some travel across East Dorset and West Hampshire so a full driving licence with business insurance essential.

Your role within Delta Bespoke’s Emotional Learning team (with the support of our Head of Emotional Learning) will be to support to students currently unable to access school by providing 1:1 sessions in their homes or out in the community. We endeavour to help all our learners to feel that they matter and belong, enabling them to improve their social, emotional and academic skills to be the best that they can be.

Our Bespoke Education programmes create a unique balance between academic and emotional learning and provide opportunities for young people to develop emotionally and build the resilience and self-esteem in order to re-engage with their learning and in turn, their education.

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to work with young people to develop their emotional literacy skills as well as practical and employability skills. The role will involve visiting students at home or taking them out in to the community to develop skills while supporting their emotional needs.

They will build positive and trusting relationships to help encourage the child with attendance and engagement. They should have a particular interest in working with students with special educational needs, including those with behavioural, emotional and social issues.
