Solution Architect, Digital Channels Web Experience Team

What you'll do

You'll be collaborating with our Digital Channels platform teams, business franchises, and wider domain teams to architect and deliver solutions. Together, you’ll elaborate on the solution and its interfaces, validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives, and develop a pipeline of features and improvements to allow frequent and incremental delivery of customer value.

On top of this, you’ll be:

• Leading the activities to shape requirements, validating designs and prototypes to deliver change that aligns with the target architecture
• Setting the quality standard for solution design in the team; troubleshooting, coaching and refining the designs of others to ensure we meet it
• Promoting adaptive design practices to drive collaboration of feature teams around a common technical vision using continuous feedback
• Making recommendations of potential impacts to existing and prospective customers of the latest technology and customer trends
• Looking for ways to innovate and extend our products and services to delight our customers and empower our stakeholders

The skills you'll need

You’ll bring expert knowledge of high-traffic public web architecture, and content - management systems, particularly the Adobe ecosystem including AEM 6.5, Campaign v7 and v8, Analytics, Target, and AEP. You’ll also need an understanding of Agile methodologies with experience of working in Agile engineering teams.

On top of this, you’ll bring:

• Experience of developing, syndicating, and communicating architectures, designs, and proposals for action
• A background in delivering solutions that securely span a complex infrastructure domain
• Experience of working with senior business and technology stakeholders in public web, fintech, retail or commercial banking
• Knowledge of Java and Microservices, Google Apigee, Azure, and cloud hosting, as well as networking, DataPower, Oracle, and certificates
• Experience of working with business solution vendors, technology vendors, and products within the market
