Our client based near East Midlands airport are recruiting a warehouse operative to join their expanding team!
The role will involve:- Loading and unloading deliveries (please note this is repetitive work so can be heavy)
- Receiving and checking goods for possible defects or damages
- Picking and loading pallets ready for dispatch
- Ensuring a safe environment by following all policies and procedures
- Creating and updating reports upon completion of tasks
- May be required to use a FLT Counterbalance to move stock around the warehouse (if trained)
- Due to the location & nature of the work, all candidates must hold a valid DBS or be willing to be put through one.
- An in date FLT Counterbalance Licence would be desirable
- Have previous experience working within a warehouse.
- Be comfortable moving products and loading/unloading lorries (this wouldn’t suit someone with a bad back)
- Strong computer skills
