What you will do:
- Lead a small sub-team and oversee staff development and supervision, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
- Support the Team Manager in implementing the Signs of Safety approach, enhancing team performance.
- Chair high-risk Strategy Meetings on a rotation basis, collaborating with other sub-teams to safeguard children and young people.
- Assist the Team Manager with “ragging” referrals, allocations, and authorising social worker assessments to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Foster strong professional relationships with MASH Partner Agencies, promoting positive and meaningful collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of the service and participate in task force groups to drive improvement.
- Operate effectively under pressure, making confident decisions to ensure timely provision of services.
This position requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Safeguarding and Child Protection are top priorities within the Council, ensuring a safe environment for all.
