Relief Care Assistant - Nights
Flexible working available for an experienced night-time Care Assistant within the Heanor area.
We are currently looking for an experienced night-time care assistant to provide waking night cover, when required, for a luxury care home based in Heanor.
You will be working alongside a friendly team looking after the elderly residents throughout the night. The residents suffer with age related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s as well as some residents who are recovering on respite, therefore, supporting their mental and physical well-being is of the utmost importance.
Throughout the night you will be:- Conducting well-being checks (including repositioning as required)
- Doing personal care when required on both males and females
- Assisting with mobility (inc. Hoists, Slings, Rotundas)
- Completing domestic duties as required
- Responding to resident’s buzzers as and when required

For this role, you must have; - A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment- A DBS dated within the last 12 months or the facility to pay for one
- All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or the facility to pay for these.

This is an ongoing position for work.
The hours are from 21:45 to 07:00 with nights being available as required from Monday to Sunday.
Rate of pay for this role is £12.00 per hour
