This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancies who specialise in providing energy compliance and consultancy services to a range of innovative projects within the construction industry. They are on the lookout for a Sustainability Consultant who can hit the ground running for their energy team in their offices in Wakefield.
Role responsibilities for a Sustainability Consultant include:
- Carrying out SBEM Part L compliance calculations and reports
- Use IES software to carry out overheating analysis, operational energy analysis, and daylight calculations
- Help clients achieve Net Zero and ESG objectives through the provision of sustainable solutions
- Help clients gain a better understanding of UK Building regulations such as Part L and Part O
The ideal Sustainability Consultant will have:
- Good experience in a relevant engineering or consultancy role within the built environment industry
- Proficiency with IES-VE software in regards to carrying out energy modelling to optimise building performance
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and legislations such as Part L compliance
- Having a level 4 Non-Domestic Energy Assessor qualification is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
