Job Description- Assisting with audits within the Accounting & Finance Department
- Preparing and reviewing audit files and financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members
- Supporting with the planning and execution of audit assignments
- Identifying potential issues and risks during audits
- Performing administrative tasks as required
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of audit processes
The Successful Applicant
A successful Audit Assistant should have:
- A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field - Working toward ACA
- Strong understanding of audit principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to professional development and learning
- An annual salary ranging between £25,000 and £30,000 DOE
- Up to 33 days of annual leave, including a day off for your birthday
