To help us to achieve this vision, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our EHR team. This is an exciting time to join our team, with significant growth planned for the department.

There are more & more job opportunities for people with an interest & experience in implementing & designing Digital Health solutions. From patient records to research, health economics to clinical decision support, Digital Health aims to bring current IT technology to healthcare settings.

We work closely with clinical, administrative & managerial staff, analysing their processes & helping them agree clinical best practice standards & workflows. We provide end-user support using specialist application knowledge through regular meetings & incident investigation & resolution. We have excellent relationships with departmental leads, super-users & subject matter experts. We have a rolling upgrade programme which delivers new features & functionality.

Candidates already Epic certified will be employed at band 7. Otherwise, you will start at band 6 & undertake a period of training to obtain certification. You will progress to Band 7 when you achieve this & demonstrate competence via assessment across all role elements.

You will be fully supported by your manager & team in this process.

Applicants without an Epic certification will be required to undertake an Epic aptitude assessment (the Sphinx test) prior to interview.
To be successful in this role you should have a good understanding of NHS services, ideally have some experience in Midwifery & Women’s Health, & enthusiasm to improve services through digital technology.
