Job Overview and Responsibilities

To operate within and maintain all appropriate Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards in order to ensure that the products and services provided by the site comply with regulatory and company standards and customer expectations.

The role of the Production Planner is to work closely with relevant departments and be responsible for scheduling the production plans to meet the customer demand and stock levels.

Requirements
  • Production planning to meet demands within production capacity/constraints.
  • Owns and co-ordinates the production schedule execution with all relevant functions (Production, Procurement, Warehousing/Logistics, Maintenance)
  • Use ERP system to manage day-to-day activities
  • Actively participate in meetings to communicate/enable other departments activities
  • Raw material requirements management within the ERP system to enable purchasing/procurement activities by purchasing function.
  • Ensure raw materials are available at plant level to satisfy the production schedule
  • Raw materials, finished goods and in-process products, co-ordinate inventory reviews with production, quality, and purchasing to set agreed stock levels and manage slow moving and out of spec materials
  • Support production and purchasing administration
  • Assist in developing systems
  • Support for COMAH inventory management

Previous experience in a manufacturing, complex, multi product, multi line environment is essential
