Lecturer in Science - The Role:
Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable science educator to join our dynamic team as a Variable Hours Lecturer in Science. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing an exceptional learning experience for our students, with a focus on the Forensic Science BTEC Extended Diploma and other science-related subjects.If you're excited about making a difference in the lives of students and sharing your expertise, we'd love to hear from you.
Lecturer in Science - Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Forensic Science at BTEC Extended Diploma level and other science disciplines.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to inspire and engage students.
- Assess and support students' progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure curriculum delivery is of the highest standard.
- Contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, helping them with their academic journey.
Lecturer in Science - You:
- A strong background in Forensic Science or a related field (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, or Criminology).
- Teaching experience or a passion for education, with a desire to inspire and motivate students. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
- A flexible, adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to adjust to the varying needs of students.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Industry experience in Forensic Science or a related field is highly desirable.
