Head of IT Services- Cardiff

Ideally, it would help if you came from more of a service management & service delivery background, than IT infrastructure-heavy.

The successful candidate will deliver and manage the day-to-day IT operations of the company, be involved in IT strategy, maintain high standards of IT service delivery, service management and safeguard their IT infrastructure. The team that you will oversee is around 15, with a mix of IT service desk & IT infrastructure professionals.

Experience Required:

• Experience in a similar senior IT role i.e. Head of IT / Head of IT Services
• Ability to manage cross-functional IT teams and develop those teams
• Excellent understanding of IT service management, IT infrastructure, and IT operations management.
• Experience within the legal sector or a professional services environment would be a bonus
• Have the ability to implement new IT strategies and lead large-scale IT projects.

• Execute and oversee the IT strategy in alignment with the company goals, ensuring effective and timely delivery of IT projects in a Microsoft cloud environment
• Manage and mentor the team of IT professionals, including all their managers and team in Security, Service Delivery and Service desk - supporting the overall IT strategy.
• Service Desk Management -Oversee and ensure the service desk operates efficiently, providing outstanding support to all staff members across multiple offices in the UK
• Service Delivery - Oversee the delivery of IT services within a Microsoft & ITIL environment, ensuring they meet business needs and comply with established SLAs.
• Collaborate with senior management, including people at the Director level and other stakeholders to understand and address urgent IT needs, to develop a robust IT strategy moving forward.

My client is looking to pay a starting salary between £55,000 - £65,000 + Hybrid working + Excellent Benefits.
