Priory Hospital Woking is looking to recruit a Sessional Integrative Psychotherapist and/or CBT Therapist to join the team. This is a sessional role
Woking Priory Hospital is set in idyllic countryside and yet is within reach of central London and both regional airports by either car or public transport. The hospital provides residential treatment for up to 30 adults and also has a strong day and outpatient programme which includes a range of therapeutic approaches.Opportunity to work as part of an MDT
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Sessional Integrative Psychotherapist and/or CBT Therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients
- Receives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking initial assessments to establish the scope, level and nature of the individual client’s therapeutic needs.
- Leads and facilitates group and/or individual therapy sessions, ensuring activities and interventions continue to meet the needs of the clients, and are consistent with the provisions detailed in the clients’ therapy plan.
- Manages, monitors and reviews an assigned caseload, ensuring delivery within the agreed timescales.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date clinical records, case file notes and computerised information, and other associated documentation; providing and presenting progress reports to case conference meetings on a regular basis

The role holder will have a relevant accreditation following a recognised post-graduate counselling or therapy qualification, along with appropriate experience in the field. Highly sophisticated communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires building trust and confidence with clients to ensure treatments and interventions are effective and successful.
