Science Teacher
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher of Science to join us on our secondary site teaching pupils 11-16 years from September 2025.
We have a large, well-resourced department and there will be an opportunity to be involved in curriculum development by working innovatively with others to plan for effective teaching and learning. This position would suit an ECT or someone with more experience.A start date of 1st July is available for ECTs.
The successful applicant will:
- Be confident teaching all areas of Science at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Provide high quality teaching in the subject area whereby students make excellent progress over time and are suitably challenged
- Plan effective lessons which fulfil the requirements of the Science curriculum
- Actively promote student achievement through frequent teacher assessment and feedback
- Adapt teaching, learning and assessment to enable all students to access learning
