The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Hygiene Manager to work for a well-established global food business based at their Wirral site. Working as part of a team,you will take overall responsibility for the factory hygiene and waste management.

• Managing a team of circa 20 people - including Team Leaders.
• Hold daily team briefing meetings to ensure clear objectives are set.
• Plan the team workload effectively to help drive continual improvements.
• Managing waste services.
• Overall responsibility for staff training, objective and standards setting.
• Support other departments in regards to hygiene training.
• Ensuring health & safety policies are being adhered to and promote a pro-active safety culture.
• Management of department budget.
• Develop and carry out hygiene audits.

• Experienced as a Hygiene Manager or Supervisor within food production.
• Ideally from a compliance driven environment with BRC / ISO involvement.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to demonstrate effective team buy in.
