We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Director of Sport to start in September 2025, specialising in Hockey or Netball. The role of the Assistant Director of Sport is to assist the Director of Sport in delivering a sector leading sports programme.

The post holder will also act as the Head of Hockey or Head of Netball and provide leadership across the various facets of the Sport programme to enhance and maintain its profile, regionally & nationally, in performance and participation levels of Bryanston pupils.

In conjunction with the Director of Sport, this role is accountable for supporting the vision, quality, delivery and effectiveness of the School’s sports programmes. The Assistant Director of Sport supports the heads of games, co-ordinates sports staff, oversees the planning and delivery of all sporting events, designs and quality assures performance sports programmes, and ensures there is stimulating sports provision for all pupils.

At Bryanston, sport is inspirational to all and integral to daily life. Over 80 per cent of pupils represent the school in at least one sport and they all participate in sport at least three times per week. Bryanston has a history of sporting success and excellence across a range of disciplines.

We encourage every pupil to explore various sports until they discover the ones that suit them. Pupils can take part in sport purely for the joy of it or to compete at the highest levels, both nationally and internationally.
