Drama Teacher Part Time - Nursery to Y6 (Maternity Cover) - Richmond
Old Vicarage School is a small independent girls prep school in Richmond. We are incredibly fortunate to be situated on Richmond Hill within easy access of the city-centre, the beauty of Richmond Park as well as excellent transport links.
We are looking for a part -time Drama Teacher (Maternity Cover) to join our team from 22 April 2025.
Essential attributes :
- Passion for Drama with an ability to promote a love of drama to pupils of all abilities and ages.
- Experienced in producing productions
- Excellent communication Skills
- Ability to work in a very busy school environment
- Can-do attitude- team player
- Degree in performing arts
- Technical understanding of lighting and sound
- Planning lessons and delivering schemes of work
- Planning of enrichment activities for drama students
- Ability to run one after school club
The successful candidate should be personable, proactive and empathetic, possess good communication skills and be able to work independently and within the bigger team. Being adept at managing priorities and calm under pressure would be valued attributes in this role.
