We're currently looking for a driven and motivated professional that is detail oriented to join our finance team, based in the Coventry, West Midlands area.
It is essential that the successful candidate is AAT Qualified (Level 4) or equivalent and must also possess a good working knowledge of SAGE 50 accounts and SAGE 50 Payroll or a similar platform.
The role will be covering long term staff sickness and maternity cover and will be based on site at our Coventry Head Office 5 days a week, covering core business hours between 9am and 5pm, with flexible start and finish times and an early finish on a Friday.
We're seeking candidates that are available for an immediate start and it will also cover an initial fixed term contract of 12 months.
Below is a list of the key job responsibilities:
Requirements- Preparing Monthly management accounts
- Processing & paying supplier invoices
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Paying employee expenses
- Posting journals, accruals & prepayments
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Assist in year-end audit preparation
- Assisting with/administering Payroll & Pension schemes for employees
- Support senior management with financial information
- Corporation tax payments
- Respond to office for national statistics surveys
- Knowledge of online banking systems
- Pension uploads
- Liaise with external auditors
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic DBS criminal record check.
Based in Coventry the role is commutable from the following areas, Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Rugby, Warwick, Solihull, Nuneaton, Southam, Hinckley, Stratford-upon-Avon, Tamworth and Birmingham as well as surrounding areas of the West Midlands.
