Oxford - Quantity Surveyor
Your new company
You will be joining a specialist highways contractor that has regional offices across the UK. The contractor collaborates with a vast number of civils contractors and local authorities across the UK. Project values and sizes vary and each scheme requires a full turnkey approach.Due to continued success and a strong project pipeline, the organisation is now on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
Your new role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value, monitoring cash flow and valuation plans, managing subcontract tender processes, managing subcontractor accounts as well as providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience working in the highways sector and ideally hold a degree in quantity surveying (or experience equivalent). Be an ambitious individual that is keen to progress in your career. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, liaising with the operations team and external stakeholders will be essential.
