SEO Project Manager – Harrogate (Hybrid Working)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative SEO Project Manager to join a dynamic and well-established agency based in the heart of Harrogate. This is a diverse and stimulating role, ideal for a candidate with a strong background in SEO and website development who is ready to take on a leadership position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of Developers, Designers, SEO executives, and Content Writers. Working closely with the Company Director, they will oversee the creation of new websites and the enhancement of existing ones, ensuring all projects align with the company’s strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products.
- Staying abreast of SEO trends and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
- Managing internal processes such as regular site checks, updates, and essential data entry tasks.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
While prior experience in managing multiple departments is advantageous, candidates with extensive experience in SEO or website development will also be considered.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to quickly acquire expert-level knowledge in new areas.
- A genuine enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
- Proven experience managing teams or coordinating multi-departmental projects.
- Alternatively, significant experience working within collaborative teams on digital projects.
- Several years of hands-on experience in SEO, ideally across websites and/or apps.
- Proficiency with Google tools such as Analytics, Search Console, and Trends.
- A working knowledge of website development and coding (beyond WordPress) is desirable but not essential.
- Exceptional English language skills, with a keen eye for spelling and grammar.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
