New Business Development Executive - Colchester
An established independent insurance broker with a strong market presence is looking for a New Business Development Executive to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a flexible environment, managing your own time and pipeline while benefiting from a solid reputation and strong prospect flow.
The position is focused on new business development, where you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, networking, cold calling, and building relationships. Around 40% of your time will be spent meeting business owners and decision-makers, working towards securing new clients.You will work alongside two experienced Account Executives, supported by a dedicated team of handlers, and target businesses with 150+ employees, handling larger commercial insurance cases across the East of England, including Cambridge, Peterborough, and up to Grimsby.
This role would suit a self-motivated professional with a strong drive to win new business, possibly a Commercial Account Handler looking to step up into an Account Executive role. While previous experience in commercial insurance is beneficial, it is not essential.Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships are key.
