[ref. j7286500] SEN Teaching Assistant
We are currently seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant on behalf of a school based in South Shields for the Autumn term. The successful candidate, whilst working under the supervision of a qualified teacher, must be able to work independently and provide support to small groups of children to assist in their learning and development.
The role is full time, commencing in Septemeber with the potential of a longer term role. You will be required to support children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children with SEND.
You will be supporting in a KS1-2 class, with a mixed range of SEND needs, including ASC, Physical/Visual/Hearing Impairments, Cognitive disabilities and medical needs. The school is extremely welcoming and has great facilities to support its pupils.
