Engineering Manager

Our client is a leading food manufacturer known for delivering high-quality products to customers. They are seeking a talented and experienced Engineering Manager to lead their maintenance and engineering teams, ensuring smooth operations, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across their production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the engineering team to maintain and improve plant equipment and machinery.
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborating with production teams to optimize processes, drive efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Managing capital projects, including new equipment installation and facility upgrades.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to food safety and equipment maintenance.
• Developing training programs to upskill engineering staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Overseeing budget management for the engineering department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
• Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
