Main duties of the job
The work schedule is:
- Thursday and Friday - 08:30-12:30
- Saturday and Sunday - 10:00-13:00
- Monday - 08:30-12:30
In your daily routine, you will:
- Perform the magic of transforming bedrooms, flats, and on-call rooms, ensuring they're pristine, beds are freshly made, and rooms are serviced to perfection.
- Embrace your independence while managing your tasks efficiently and on time.
- Keep an eagle eye out for any building issues and report them to the residences team.
- Act as the friendly face and point of contact, addressing queries from our valued tenants while ensuring their properties are in top-notch condition.
- Utilise a department car for easy access to properties that may not be within walking distance.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria- Basic Education – Reading and writing plus basic numeric skills
- Full Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 1 or Cleaning Experience in a similar field
Knowledge
Essential criteria- Previous experience of working in a small team
- Previous NHS experience
Skills
Essential criteria- Able to electronically order required cleaning stocks to ensure they are ready to be used as needed
- Able to prioritise and use own initiative, when faced with several cleaning requests
- Able to lift and move items and, equipment, to facilitate cleaning or catering jobs, over the whole of the shift
