Experienced Grounds Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee and manage the grounds maintenance service in Suffolk and the surrounding areas. Applicants will be required to service commercial and local authority grounds maintenance contracts with a range of different tasks.

The successful candidate will ensure the daily deployment of resources across the region, for operational activities to run effectively and efficiently, achieving or exceeding key performance indicators.

Applicants will need to be organised and capable of working on their own initiative to carry out scheduled works on a variety of sites. Working to tight deadlines applicants will need to complete all duties given to mandatory quality standards.

Responsible for Grounds Chargehands, grounds operatives, staffing levels and several depots throughout Suffolk.
Supervision of the ground’s teams.
Delivering Customer satisfaction.
Managing budgets and revenue as well as pricing for new works and projects.
Experience in the horticultural industry with ideally 2 years preferred + in an operational supervisor or management role.
Customer and employee engagement and provides support, training and opportunities for growth and development.
The ability to show initiative and work flexibly.
Compliance with company health & safety, environmental and quality procedures, and current legislation.
Client liaison including site visits and submission of quotations.

Compliance with all existing systems, procedures, and work practices.

Essential: full clean driving licence.

An understanding of an involvement with Profit and loss reports
