Senior People Advisor
Successful candidates will act as Senior People Advisors aligned with a designated Business Unit within the Trust. You will assist your Business Unit in meeting their overall objectives and Business plans by providing timely and accurate information, advice and support to enable them to proactively manage: Employee relations Organisational Change Recruitment and retention of quality staff Medical Staff resources Successful candidates will have an ability to communicate, negotiate and influence a range of managers and staff; have a pragmatic approach to deal with complex, difficult and emotional situations in order to advise on an appropriate course of action and an ability to organise their own workload to meet service needs and competing deadlines.
There are substantial development and training opportunities available within the Trust. Applicants for the Senior People Advisor position must have: Postgraduate diploma level qualification in Human Resources Management or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.A sound working knowledge of employment legislation, good HR/People practice and policies and management procedures, gained via significant previous experience of working in an HR/People environment. Working knowledge of the NHS. It is an essential requirement of the role that the post holder has a valid driving licence and is either a car owner and able to use the car for work purposes or has a Trust personal lease vehicle which may be used for the role.
