Sellick Partnership is thrilled to be assisting a Local Authority in Essex with the recruitment for a Litigation Lawyer.
This is an excellent opportunity, and would be well suited to a non-qualified, or foreign qualified lawyer, seeking to undertake the SQE or QLTS.
The successful Litigation Lawyer will be joining a supportive and flexible legal services team, undertaking a mixed caseload of civil and criminal litigation matters.
Responsibilities of the Litigation Lawyer:- Managing a range of civil and criminal litigation cases under the supervision of the Principal Lawyer
- Developing expertise in areas such a housing, judicial review, criminal prosecutions, regulatory matters, and more
- Representing the Council in the County and Magistrates Court, providing advocacy services and managing litigation
- Legal Degree or equivalent
- Commitment to completing the SQE or QLTS
- Prior experience within litigation
- Experience in preparing reports and legal documents
- Commitment to continuous professional development and training
