Part Time Optometrist
Portsmouth Permanent Part-time £55,000 - £65,000/year
Evolve is recruiting for an Optometrist to join the UK’s top rated eye hospital in providing outstanding eye care for their patients. This is a patient-focused company who are recognised for consistently delivering excellent results and offering treatment options for the full range of vision correction solutions.
Your role will involve carrying out pre/post operative consultations, and assessing the suitability of patients for treatment based in Hampshire

Salary & Package
• £65,000 pro rata FTE dependent on experience.
• 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays

Ideal Requirements for the Optometrist
• Current GOC registration as a fully qualified optometrist
• Extensive experience working as an optometrist in a refractive, high street or hospital environment
• Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems
• Experience of working to conversion targets and other KPIs within Vision Correction
Role Responsibilities for the Optometrist
• Carry out examinations that are associated with refractive, cataract, glaucoma and retinal surgeries
• Run acute and follow up clinics post-surgery for all patients
• Provide health advice and support to patients attending the hospital
• Provide first line clinical advice to patients and follow the appropriate means of referral to a medical practitioner if necessary
